Dr. Colleen Casey is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Boston's Back Bay and Arlington, Massachusetts, with teletherapy available throughout Massachusetts and New York. She offers individual therapy to teens and adults.

Education​

Dr. Casey earned her doctorate (Psy.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (now William James College), where she specialized in child and adolescent development. Her doctoral research focused on applying strength-based approaches to treating depression—a philosophy that continues to guide her clinical work today.

Training and Work Experience

With extensive training across diverse settings, Dr. Casey has worked as a school psychologist and trained at the Boston VA, Boston University's Student Health Services, and Family Service of Lawrence. She completed her internship at MSPP's Brenner Center for Psychological Assessment and Consultation, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center, where she worked in both the Neurodevelopmental Center and the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.

Dr. Casey also holds a master's degree (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience at the Trauma Center in Brookline, specializing in complex trauma treatment, and served as a clinician at the F.L. Chamberlain School, a residential program for adolescents in Middleborough, Massachusetts.
