Dr. Colleen Casey is a licensed clinical psychologist with offices in the Back Bay of Boston and Arlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Casey offers a range of services, including individual therapy, consultation, and supervision.

 

Dr. Casey received her doctoral degree (Psy.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. At MSPP, she concentrated her studies in child and teen development. Dr. Casey focused her doctoral research on the clinical application of strength-based approaches to the treatment of depression.

 

Dr. Casey has extensive experience working with both teens and adults. Prior to starting a private practice, Dr. Casey worked as a psychologist in local schools. Dr. Casey trained at the Boston VA, Boston University's Student Health Services, and Family Service of Lawrence, an outpatient clinic for children and adults. Dr. Casey also completed an internship at MSPP's Brenner Center for Psychological Assessment and Consultation. Dr. Casey’s post-doctoral fellowship was at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center, where she split her time between the Neuro-developmental Center and the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.

 

Prior to pursuing a doctorate, Dr. Casey received her master’s degree (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University. Following graduation, Dr. Casey worked at the Trauma Center in Brookline, an outpatient clinic specializing in the treatment of individuals who have experienced complex trauma. Dr. Casey was also a clinician at the F.L. Chamberlain School, a residential program for teens, in Middleboro, Massachusetts.
